⋆Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) : ✵✵✵ - I avoided watching any of these movies for a long time because my grandma was really into them, so I figured it was a grandma movie series, but this one is actually pretty good. Very 2000s. Perhaps being around the same age as Bridget helps with the enjoyment. I will not be watching any of the sequels.

⋆The Birdcage (1996) : ✵✵✵✵ - Very funny. Very loving movie. Val is aggrivating. I can't believe he is supposed to be 20, but also expecting your gay Jewish parents to hide every aspect of who they are so you can marry someone from a conservative family sounds like 20 year old behavior. Great cameo from Martha May Whovier.
